Real Intimacy is a meeting between two souls, an invitation to meet each other exactly where they are, without expectation or agenda. It doesn’t demand gifts and benefits, sexual prowess, conditional offerings. It merely asks you to show up as you are, fully revealed and present. It invites you to shed your masks, disguises, and adaptations, and to drop into whatever is real for you in that moment. Real intimacy meets you where you live, not where you or anyone else wants you to live. It’s the big sigh of relief that arises when you finally know that you don’t have to put on a show to feel accepted. Here we are, just as we are.
It’s so interesting what happens when we stop seeing relationship success solely in terms of whether the connection lasts for a lifetime, and start seeing relational success in terms of whether we have learned from it, expanded from it, grown to the next stage on our self-creation journey. When we move from this perspective, relationship becomes a wonderful depth charge for our own healing and expansion. Nothing to fear, just more grist for the soul mill. If we find a lifelong partner-great!- but if we don’t, we get better at partnering with our inner lover.
It doesn’t matter how much two people love one another if they are developmentally incompatible, or if there is not a shared willingness to become conscious. This is why they call it a relationship instead of a ‘loveship’. Love alone is not enough. If you want it to last, you have to relate to each other in ways that keep the ship afloat.

Ecstasy and love are not the same thing. We often get them confused. There are some connections that open us so wide that we cannot help but call them love. But they may not be. They may just be a transcend-dance, an invitation to delight, the heart opening that we so desperately needed after years encased in armor. We call certain people into our lives to awaken us, to “reheart” us, but that doesn’t mean they are the beloved.

You can connect from all kinds of places- energetic harmony, sexual alchemy, intellectual alignment- but they won’t sustain love over a lifetime.
You need a thread that goes deeper, that moves below and beyond the shifting sands of compatibility. That thread is fascination- a genuine fascination with someone’s inner world, the way they organize reality, the way they “hearticulate” their feelings, the unfathomable and bottomless depths of their being. We must be under no illusion that all soul mates are meant to last a lifetime. Some are only meant to last a moment. Sometimes people walk away from love because it is so beautiful that it terrifies them. Sometimes they leave because the connection shines a bright light on their dark places, and they are not ready to work them through. Sometimes they run away because they are not developmentally prepared to merge with another- they have more individuation work to do first. Sometimes they take-off because love is not a priority in their lives – they have another path and purpose to walk first. Sometimes they end it because they prefer a relationship that is more practical than conscious, one that does not threaten the ways that they organize reality. Because so many of us carry shame, we have a tendency to personalize love’s leavings, triggered by the rejection and feelings of abandonment. But this is not always true. Sometimes it has nothing to do with us. Sometimes the one who leaves is just not ready to hold it safe. Sometimes they know something we don’t- they know their limits at that moment in time. Real love is no easy path- readiness is everything. May we grieve loss without personalizing it.

However love arrives at your door, it is always a brave path. It’s like taking a long walk in a deep dark forest and never quite knowing where your soul will land. It’s not for the faint of heart, nor is it ever to be taken lightly. Real love is heartcore. You have to be tenacious. You have to be innovative. You have to be willing to drop to your knees time and again before its wisdom. You can only heal your heart with your heart, and to do that we have to open the heart wide enough for its healing elixir to rain down on our pain. Why bury the tears that heal us? Why bury the emotions that fertilize our expansion? Emotional release is a potent way to regain a genuine experience of the moment.
Tears are g-d’s heartshield wipers. They clear the dirt from our heart so we can see the path clearly. Let our quest for spiritual expansion begin with emotional authenticity.
Nothing to hide, nowhere to hide it.
Love on the ego level is very different from love on the spiritual level.
Love on the ego level is about “getting” something- approval, security, attention, compassion, understanding, caring, sex, affection.
Love on the spiritual level is about giving something to ourselves and others – caring, compassion, understanding, kindness, attention, and so more.
Love on the ego level is about getting filled through others, while Love on the spiritual level is about learning to fill ourselves through Spirit so that we can feel love and compassion and express this loving compassion toward ourselves and others.
Your challenge and our sacred privilege is to evolve the very fabric of love and compassion as we each learn to love through the challenge of being on Earth.
Living with the adversity of this planet provides an opportunity that we do not have in the spiritual realm – the opportunity to learn to love in the face of fear.
The spiritual journey is not about getting rid of life’s difficulties,
it’s about dancing with them.
The spiritual path is the seeking of Truth in order to become one with Love. The spiritual path is remembering that we are Love.
Loving action is always true to ourselves.
Any action that denies our truth is an unloving action.
Giving of time, money, sex, approval, when we do not want to give is unloving to ourselves and others.
When we are in Love, we are unattached to the outcome of our actions.
Our actions are inspired by a genuine desire to Love in this moment, without thought of where this loving might lead or what benefits we might receive from this loving.
We set our compass in the direction of loving action, open to whatever outcome arises, and allow the waters to lead us and others to where we need to be, with no agenda and no attachment to the outcome of these actions.
We give for the sheer pleasure of giving, without thought or expectation that the touch, word, embrace, gaze, or gift be returned. We willingly let go of the outcome, trusting that Life will unfold as it’s meant to unfold.
May you come to honor yourself as the great Star Being that you are, sent to earth to birth a new Earth reality and a New World governed by Love.
May you walk now in harmony as your heart leads you to your Authentic Life.
May you walk with gratitude, honor and respect for the Life you have been given… and this rare opportunity it affords you.
May grace embrace you as you enter the new creation cycle
and form your new reality.
The gift is the realization that you are a part of God,
that you are Awareness in form.
